How to Avoid Buying Fake SD Memory Card

Have you ever bought a fake SD card? Or have you ever been in a situation where you doubt if the card is genuine at all? Many photographers and video creators stumble upon fake memory cards every once in a while. If you want to be able to differentiate the genuine from the fake, check out our video!
There is a a ton of copies of all memory card brands, and especially SanDisk cards. Some of the copies are very good and it is quite hard to spot the difference. Check our video here in order to learn to pay attention on the most important details where is usually visible if the card is fake or genuine.

What I didn’t put in the video is this: If the price seems too good to be true – DON’T BUY IT! Usually the fake cards are much cheaper from the original ones. Always check the official prices of the producer, and then compare it with the one you found. If the price is much lower, take caution, you are probably looking at a fake card.

Memory cards are not the thing where you should save money. You don’t want to end up with corrupted files on the card or even worse – not be able to take photos and videos properly.

Check the SD cards on Amazon and make sure to buy from legitimate sellers like the producer of the cards SanDisk or authorized dealers. This is not something where you should try to save money.
